Join us for a conversation with Debora Cahn, creator and showrunner of Netflix’s critically acclaimed drama series The Diplomat, starring Keri Russell and Rufus Sewell. Debora will be joined in conversation by Neal Katyal '91, former Acting Solicitor General of the United States and partner at Milbank, LLC. The conversation will be moderated by Dafna Linzer, former Editorial Director and Executive Vice President at U.S. News & World Report, and Ambassador Erica Barks Ruggles, former U.S. Ambassador to Rwanda and Obenshain Family Visitor and Diplomat in Residence at the John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding. The conversation will center of the art of bringing international and domestic policy, politics and law to viewers, and the challenges inherent in this work.
