About This Event

What if we could see the contours of our students' understanding as it changes over the course of the term? What if they could see it, in real time, for themselves? Using a natural language processing model, Professor Jeremy Manning and his lab developed a tool for modeling how conceptual knowledge is acquired during learning, termed knowledge mapping. In this session, Manning will demonstrate Knowledge Mapper and invite discussion of how such a tool could support more data-informed teaching and effective individualized learning. Please register!
