About This Event
Two distinguished scholars discuss the political thought and conduct of James Madison, co-author of the Federalist Papers and drafter of the U.S. Constitution. A prolific author and expert in the American Founding, Weiner has been called “among the most profound contemporary writers on political philosophy.” Bilder, the Founders Professor of Law at B.C., is a Bancroft-prize winning historian of early America, especially James Madison and the Constitutional Convention. Their conversation is sponsored by the Political Economy Project, and co-sponsored by the Rockefeller Center.
