About This Event
Join us on Nov. 14 for the second annual Upper Valley Cranksgiving: The world’s largest food drive on two wheels! Part bike, part food drive, and part scavenger hunt. Hop on a bike to collect needed items at nearby stores, either racing your friends or taking your time to gather a huge donation!
Riders will gather at 10am at the Upper Valley Haven (713 Hartford Ave., White River Junction) to receive a list of Upper Valley stores and a list of items the Upper Valley Haven needs most for their food pantry. At the ring of the bell, they will ride off to string the stores together and return to the start with purchased items.
You will want to bring: $15-20 to purchase items along the route, warm clothes, a bike if you have one, a bag or way to carry items, and a lock! If you want to participate but need a bike, email [email protected] . Cranksgiving is grassroots-organized in over 100 cities, entirely volunteer-run, and entirely pedal-powered. No entry fee goes anywhere but the food.
