Taboo Tours at the Enfield Shaker Museum
Step beyond the traditional history tour and explore the darker, more mysterious side of Shaker life. The Enfield Shaker Museum presents a special series of three Taboo Tours, each examining fascinating and controversial topics from Shaker history, including scandal, murder, spiritualism, the afterlife, and the enduring question: Were the Shakers a cult?
Each evening features a unique theme, an interactive hands-on activity, and an opportunity to uncover stories rarely told on standard tours. Guests will also enjoy one complimentary cocktail, beer, or glass of wine with their ticket, along with light refreshments.
