Join Nigerian-born British poet, playwright and performer Inua Ellams for a reading from his epic poem, The Half-God of Rainfall. The discussion will be moderated by Anaiis Cisco, filmmaker and Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Film and Media Studies at Dartmouth College.

Inua Ellams, Visiting Artist at the Hopkins Center, will be reading from The Half-God of Rainfall: A World-Beating Exploration of Mythology, Power and Sport. Come see him in advance of his performances of his work Search Party at the Hopkins Center over the weekend!

The New York TImes calls The Half-God of Rainfall “a melodious, sky-high tale of a basketball superstar born as a resut of a celestial contest between the Greek and Yoruba gods of thunder, Zeus and Sango.”
